Christy Prescott is the founder and CEO of Collegiate Travel Planners (CTP), a leading U.S. travel management firm specializing in higher education travel. She launched the company in 1991 and grew it from a small startup into the nation’s top travel provider for colleges and universities. Today, she continues to serve as CEO, bringing more than 30 years of leadership and industry expertise.
Christy’s giving spirit and commitment to service are at the heart of who she is. She founded the Christy’s Hope Foundation to support battered women and children, and the foundation has raised nearly $6 million to support this vital mission. She is actively involved in nonprofit leadership throughout the San Antonio community, serving on the Board of Directors for Family Violence Prevention Services (FVPS) and as a board member of the Valero Alamo Bowl, which helps provide college scholarships for students.
From community support to family love, Christy’s life reflects her dedication to both service and the people closest to her. She is happily married to Greg, and together they share four children and two grandchildren.
